Kapka Kassabova who is the author of Street Without A Name, the best book written in English about a Bulgarian childhood, has been awarded the Golden Quill. The Golden Quill awards (or Zlatno Pero) are given out each year by a popular radio station called Alma Mater-Classic FM to individuals and organisations for contributions to Bulgarian culture.This year, amazingly, Kapka is the only writer to receive a Golden Quill.
